On 15 May, S&N hosted a business lunch at Frankfurt's Messeturm convention centre. At the lunch, methods and open source solutions from Red Hat were presented; these are designed to reduce development and infrastructure costs.
Participants were welcomed by Christian Meinhardt (senior partner and middleware manager at Red Hat) und Sarah Midderhoff (consultant at S&N AG)
The first presentation by Michael Illgner (consultant at S&N AG) focused on modelling complex business rules using JBoss BPM Suite in a way that is usable for the department. An example from one of our customers was used to show how effectively and efficiently its business processes with rules were mapped and could then be consolidated and managed.
This was followed by the presentation of JBoss Fuse by Serge Pagop (senior channel solution architect, middleware at Red Hat). Typical applications for integration solutions were shown, including how they were implemented in specific case studies. In addition, a look at the latest developments in JBoss Fuse was offered.
Finally, Heiko Nowack (managing consultant, S&N) showed how the technologies and approaches shown have been successfully used in customer projects.
The successful day was rounded off by a lunch, where the speakers and participants had the chance to active discuss current topics and individual concerns.
