The way to a collaboration strategy
The efficient usage of collaboration systems requires a well-founded understanding for the customers’ requirements, the actual application area and the possibilities and limits of the products.
The planning for the collaboration strategy will be done together with our customer as a project work or a workshop. For the planning we use the following methods amongst others:
- Profiling of strong points/weak points
- Scenario method
- Risk analysis
- Product lifecycle
- Portfolio method
After the as-is and requirement-analysis, these methods are used to work out the GAP to the to-be processes. The result will be an implementation plan, that takes the following aspects into account:
Architecture
- Strategic direction of the companies IT-environment
- Determination of migration and sustainability
- Degree of automatization during operation
- Scalability and Availability
Costs
- Hardware, licenses, service, installation and operating
- Implementing costs for the integration
- Usage of standard solutions
- Specific migration costs
